Whether on the highway or city streets, the 2015 Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS motorcycle has the modern muscle to log the miles with style—style that pays homage to its classic hot rod roots. Its thunderous 1700cc V-Twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected powerplant has an Electronic Throttle Valve (ETV), four-valve heads, a six-speed transmission, hydraulic clutch and fi nal belt drive. Additionally the Vaquero has rider-reassuring Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-braking Technology (K-ACT) ABS.

With a color-matched inner fairing and distinctive gauge inserts, the rider’s view of the Vaquero lends itself to the scenery of the open road. Small locking glove boxes on each side of the fairing provide secure storage for garage door openers, sunglasses and other necessary items. Large, powerful speakers deliver sound from the versatile stereo, and all the necessary information is displayed to the rider via classically-styled analog gauges and a high-tech LCD display panel.

The 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS looks cool from every angle, but a glance at the rear section of the bike tells quite a story. A wide rear fender covers a 170/70-16 rear tire for a beefy, tough appearance. Tightly-mounted saddlebags keep the profi le slim, and a slick LED taillight adds even more chrome to the rear, complementing the dual exhausts and the unmistakable V-Twin engine.
